Services from interim management to coaching
Interim Management
As an interim manager, Marijke works as a temporary, external and highly qualified manager in order to realize in a fixed period, a positive change and an effective implementation in organisations. She improves the effectiveness of the organization and its policies, and takes responsibility for the output and the outcomes. Management, people, processes and communication are the key issues for successful change. Deliverables achieved are irreversible. In other words: "She makes it work."
Reasons for an organization to choose interim management may be: Policy or market change, (management) crisis, management support, the need to improve the service delivery, program implementation or a merger.
Interim management works on daily fees and might look expensive on the short term. The return on investment becomes apparent while comparing with total labour costs and the improvement of performance.
Management coaching
Marijke is a practical management coach. Her broad and divers management experience makes her an excellent sparring partner for executive management in the process of developing new strategies and its implementation. In addition she guides young management in their process of development of their management skills and attitude.
Career Coaching
As a career coach she supports people, who either have lost their job or have a career issue, in discovering what should be the next step and how to find a new, appropriate job.
During this process they learn from their working experience in the past, develop a new personal profile and a realistic perspective on a new job. Employers as well as employees benefit from coaching.
Consultancy
"Marijke makes it work," says enough. Marijke is not just a consultant or advisor. Consultancy is often the start of an interim or coaching route. In this context the advisory role focuses typically on assessment reports and action plans.

Performance Plus Plan
Our approach begins with a one-to-one interview with the business leader of the company, to understand the need. After a first agreement we will start with a 360 degree analysis of the company (reading the business documents and interviewing employees at every level).
Within two weeks, we give you our feedback on the situation and present an analysis and action plan. After an agreement we will start with the practical and hands-on implementation. We prefer to work with a small internal project group. This enables us to work with a "train the trainer" concept, which guarantees the knowledge hand over within your company. During the process a highlight report is given on a biweekly basis.
We offer a tailor made approach which can be management and career coaching, interim management and consultancy.

and business leader. She is a specialist in formulating human
strategies, change management and implementation. She has a broad experience as interim manager.
She has extensive experience in service industries, central and local parastatals, education and healthcare. She quickly understands business strategies and processes, which she can rapidly translate into practical and successful implementation plans.

Marijke Frijters
Marijke Frijters has more than 25 years experience as a senior interim manager, trainer, coach and advisor. Her passion is to facilitate and support change processes in the context of people and organisations. She is convinced that in business, people are the key to success.
In 2008 she realised her dream; to live and work abroad. South Africa, a country involved in a huge transition process, fascinates her and she feels at home.
Marijke Frijters, born in the Netherlands, is (grand)mother of a son, a daughter and two granddaughters.
Reaching out Lungi's Township B&B
Marijke lives and works in Cape Town, South Africa. When she learned more about the hard live of a lot of people living in townships, she wanted to reach out.
Her domestic worker, Nomalungelo Gladys lives in Khayelitsha and is a single mom of 3 children. When Marijke met Gladys, it was the start of a journey to offer more perspective for this family.
Township tourism and accommodation in South Africa is growing. After intensive research, Marijke and Gladys joined forces to start a township bed & breakfast in Khayelitsha, near Cape Town. Via micro credit, raised through Marijke's network, a loan was granted to buy a shack, renovate and furnish Lungis Township B&B.
Permanent training and coaching by Marijke enables Gladys, to develop more entrepreneurial skills and an appropriate business and hospitality attitude.
